An Afternoon of Art, Zen, and Poetry

Join us for an intimate gathering to celebrate the contemplative beauty of art and words.

Date: Sunday, February 9, 2025
Time: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Talk, Q&A, and Poetry: 2:00 to 3:00
Location: Rich and Tina’s

This special event will feature a showcase of The Zen Art of Sōkei, a collection of artworks by Sōkei inspired by the teachings and practices of Zen Buddhism. Each piece invites a moment of stillness and reflection, revealing the subtle interplay of impermanence, beauty, and awakening.

The afternoon will also include a talk by the artist Sōkei, exploring the connection between art, Zen practice, and the unfolding of reality in each moment. Adding to the atmosphere, Malcolm Streitfeld, "The Bard of Tecumseh" will share an evocative selection of poetry, creating a harmonious interplay of visual and spoken art.

Rich and Tina’s home offers a warm and inviting space for this gathering of kindred spirits. Refreshments will be served, and there will be time to connect with fellow attendees.

Space is limited, so RSVP by January 24.

If you have any questions, please email Rich.

We hope you can join us for this unique celebration of creativity, presence, and the infinite wonder of the moment.
